If anyone would like to try out playing goalie for a game in D league, let me know. I know Shane helped me out a lot by loading me his gear when I was getting started. It is a big investment. So of anyone wants to give it a try before buying the equipment, or just to see what it is like playing in net, let me know. You are more than welcome to use my gear.

I have my beginning set of goalie gear that someone could borrow to try it out or buy from me pretty cheap.

I still have most of the gear that THansenite used to start playing as well that is avalible to use.

Wow. I've seen the 4 of you (Tony, Shano, Bish & Scotty) when you where just in goalie diapers and ...sniffle...sniffle...now you guys are all grown up and wearing Luvs Pull Ups. Not too long before you grow into the Adult Depends.
You 4 are a great story in the goalie world. Your gear should not be loaned our, but rather retired to the Des Moines Adult Hockey Hall of Fame. (DMAHHOF).

Haha, if Shane's gear was put in the Hall of Fame, nobody would come because the building would smell so bad.

If you're wanting ice time, you might also check out the Bucs arena pay and play on Tuesdays, although it might be over or maybe next week is the last one??? I haven't been able to make it to one for awhile, but I don't think any of them I went to ever had more than 1 goalie.
It's a short time livin' and a long time in the ground.

todd brekke I'm always willing to lend my gear out. If you want to borrow it some Saturday for a Pay and Play before jumping into a full game, just let me know.

Brekke,
I just called Beller and left a message about playing goalie for B&B next week...if he doesn't take me up on the offer, you can play for us. The only issue is that we are leaving for vacation on Monday and I will have to get you the equipment. I will get back with you when I find out.
