Does anyone know the reason the Sunday night games were cancelled this weekend? I didn't know anything until I drove over there and found the signs on the doors.

Apparently the zam broke, imagine that! I didnt know either until I arrived at the arena about 6:30. I went and asked them, they said they called all the captains that afternoon but our captain never got the call. Apparently it is still down but looking to get fixed up today. We shall see.
Its pretty bad when the ice in the parking lot is slicker than the ice inside the rink.

I guess some of the kids games were in jeapordy on Sunday because of the broken zam. It sounds like the Zamboni is operational for the games tonight though. I was sick last week so I am ready to get on the ice.

Of course this was on thier website.... "***January 31, 2009 - The Zamboni issue has been resolved and all events will proceed as scheduled.***". Our games were on the 1st. Let's hope communication improves with the new manager.
