Back in the old days, when it was "Beat the Bear", on Sunday nights, it was broadcast "live before a studio audience". They would provide food and beverages. The food was pretty good and we had fun. Jim Zabel was the host.
I also had more than a few choice words for Ed during the game. The next day Marty and Miller on 1460 KXNO ripped Ed for about 10 minutes. But since the Redwings won all things turned out for the good.
