I suppose now instead of making a mix tape it would be burning a CD, but what would you use for a mix of hockey music? I brought this up because a friend of mine who doesn't care about hockey but is a huge Warren Zevon gave me a CD with "Hit Somebody". I'd never heard it before at any rink or anything, which surprised me. You can check the lyrics here Hit Somebody Lyrics I was going to do the "free" ringtone download until I realized it's only "free" if you get a $12 per month subscription.

This song really spoke to me. I get so tired of spilling the blood every week, and it's not winning me any friends on the other teams (heck, even our own team except for Dave won't stick around for a beer due to my rage). If only I could score, it would be all be so unnecessary! Mike says that's his job though, and while he's capped at 3 per game, I'm capped at 0. As long as we win the C league trophy I guess it's a worthy sacrifice. I must now go have a little cry under my desk.
